The ACS Spanish program is designed to expose the Spanish language to Preschool – 8th grade students one day/week. Eighth grade students receive a high school foreign language credit for Spanish.
Learning Plus Program
This program provides tutorial and remedial assistance for students with identified learning difficulties. Each student enrolled in the LPP works at their appropriate pace with a curriculum that is designed to meet their individual needs. Each student will participate with the regular education class for field trips and specialty classes – Art, Music, Orchestra, Physical Education, Spanish, Computer, and Chapel. The class is limited to 8-10 students depending on the academic need, and the program is only offered to established ACS families or new families that are dedicated to Christian education for all of their children.
The tutoring/enrichment program is designed to assist students that require tutorial assistance in maintaining the learning pace of the regular education classroom or require additional learning opportunities to develop academic areas of identified gifts. Standardized test scores, regular education classroom teacher recommendations, and parental input determine student participation.
Speech Therapy services are provided. All students are screened by a licensed speech therapist upon enrollment and will receive therapy pending parent approval.
