It is the philosophy of Ashland Christian Preschool to provide a developmentally appropriate program of learning experiences for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children that enchances the child's feeling of confidence and self-esteem, and provides a readiness foundation for future formal learning. These activities and experiences address the child as a "whole person" and is designed to promote the needs, interests, and abilities of each child through quiet and active involvement in the following areas:

- Academically, through the use of developmentally appropriate readiness activities in areas of language development, pre-reading, number, and science concepts.
- Physically, through activities designed to enhance small and large motor development.

- Socially, through interaction with other children, adults, and opportunities to learn about the community and world in which they live.

- Spiritually, through understanding that God created them, loves them, and has a special plan for each life; therefore, they can choose to love God and obey Him.

Preschool Class Options

AM Preschool 8:30 - 11:00am 1 to 5 days Ages 3-5
Creative Ed 11:00am - 2:50pm 1 to 5 days Ages 3-6
Before School Supervision 7:30 - 8:30pm (for working parents)
After School Care 2:50 - 5:30pm

Preschool also includes optional swimming and gymnastics in partnership with the YMCA.
